Best seafood restaurant I've ever been to. I picked at my food because I didn't want to eat it too fast lol the daughters of the owner were fantastic the food was perfectly seasoned the sweet tea perfectly sweet. I couldn't rave enough about the food I can't wait to go back. Oh the music slamming. Not loud at all its such a welcoming atmosphere. I had fried chicken yams & mac n cheese got 2 desserts too.

Service was excellent and food was fantastic. I went with a group of about 12 and they were able to accommodate all of us. Staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good soul food.

Let me tell you something! Me and a few of my coworkers ordered from here today and baby!!!! You get what you pay for! It was better than good! It was GREAT!! I have tried just about every soul food spot in RVA since I’ve been here (9 years) and child...... we were speechless. I’m talking about jaws clacking praise dancing!!! We ordered a little of everything! The platters are heavy and they have great portions. The dining area is beautiful and very clean. Customer service was amazing. Found my new favorite spot. Black girl magic at its finest!! Y’all got me

This is one of my favorites!! Always freshly cooked and hot. Not to mention it is delicious!!! Truly my family loves this place. The owners and staff are friendly and cater to you every need. Whether I get taken out or eat in, I am always satisfied!!!! I wish the delivered!!!

This was my first visit and I love this place. The staff is amazing. They are welcoming and down to earth. You marry that with great food and I’m in love. Thank you for great food and laughs. I’ll be sure to come early next time!!! lol Sorry. No photos. I was eager to dig in.

I’m giving them a 5 star even though the food was a bit salty(that’s my personal opinion). I had the Fish, mac and cheese and cabbage. My husband had the fish as well but with collards and ac and cheese. Soon as you walk in the door we were greeted and they were ready to take our order. Everything was fresh and hot. I wanted to try the turkey wing but they were all out However, I will be returning to give them another try!
